Pasta extruder molds and options for your target shape
Choose tooling around the pasta you want to sell. A product photo, target dimensions and flour details help us review the mold and cutting requirements for a selected compact machine.
A shape name is a starting point
Tubes, elbows, screws and shells are useful product directions, but they do not define a complete mold specification. The target size, wall thickness, recipe and cutting length all affect the review. Send a photo or drawing, and describe what you expect the finished product to look like.
Avoid assuming that one mold fits every pasta extruder, or that a pictured product is automatically included. Confirm compatibility with the selected machine and the output you want to achieve.
Prepare a useful mold brief
- Product photo, drawing or sample and desired dimensions
- Flour / semolina and recipe trial status
- Target shape, length and appearance
- Expected kilograms per day and shapes per shift
- Selected machine option, or a request for recommendation
- Mold quantities, spares and accessories requested
Keep the machine and supporting scope clear
The selected mold forms the pasta; cutting and handling requirements need their own review. Mixing, drying, storage and packing may also matter, depending on whether you serve the product directly or sell it in packs.
Ask which items are integrated, included, optional or supplied separately. The quotation should identify the mold package and any cutter, mixer or drying support agreed for the project.
Plan shape changes before you buy
If you sell several shapes, schedule the batches and cleaning steps around the working time available. Request the compatible mold list, the included quantity and the procedure for the selected configuration. Product trials and changeover requirements should be agreed before ordering.
